I like that the work I do as a developer for Level Level is very versatile!
I’m doing front-end as well as back-end development work at Level Level. As a freelancer you are often responsible for the entire process when developing a website. This is a skill that comes in handy while working at Level Level! Whether it concerns styling a payment form or developing complex links with external parties, I like to do it all!
I occasionally worked as a freelancer for various national and international clients for a long time now. Initially, I did this alongside my study. But later on I did this next to my ‘normal work’. Since April 2020 I have been working full-time as a freelancer. It was exciting to quit my regular job and start my own business in the midst of a pandemic, but I haven’t regretted it for a moment.
I studied Economics and Finance at the University of Amsterdam. This is not very helpful to me when programming, but it is useful for administration!
What I like the most is how versatile the work is. No two days are the same and the different projects we work on are very diverse. I also enjoy the challenge of building something that works for the client as the users of the website in the best way it can.
It may be a bit basic, but I’ve always wanted to go skydiving – it would really seem like a fantastic experience. I also want to go on a surfing holiday someday. I’ve tried it a few times and I was really shit at it, but I really enjoyed it. I hope I can change that with a little practice. 😉
We are up for any challenge!
