A day in the life of Level Level: Composing content with Megan.

live the Level you love, love the Level you live - tile

Of course we would love to see this tile for sale at Xenos, but you can’t have it all. A job with us, on the other hand, you can! What is life like at Level Level? In more serious language: what is it like to work at Level Level?

In the coming weeks I will interview a few colleagues about this. Who am I? Let me introduce myself in our first blog!

Nice to meet you!

Hi, I’m Megan and have been a content marketer at Level Level since August 2020. My main duty is to write cool content. Which great cases have we been working on? What do we (not) say on social media? Are our texts accessible? I keep a close eye on Level Level’s brand voice. And, of course, work together with colleagues and clients to gather information and ask for feedback!

“Go ahead and do it”

Did I have to get used to my new job? Well, not really, actually. In fact, I was particularly surprised that everyone is so positive and motivated! If I have a problem with something, one of my colleagues will come to the rescue right away. You also get the freedom to try things out pretty quickly. “Go ahead and do it.” If it works out, you will hear that appreciation. If something needs to be done a little differently or something needs to be improved? Then you will hear that too. Typically “Rotterdams”: just say what it’s all about. I like that!

Who’s in the office today?

The crazy thing is that I started working in ‘the COVID-19 crisis’, as it’s called. The onboarding process was a little different because of that, you are not in the office with all your new colleagues at the same time. Nevertheless, I was well received. Even a work laptop was waiting for me! Ilse (our Office Manager) took the time to explain everything to me. We also have a shared agenda in which you can indicate when you are coming to the office. That way everyone is considerate of each other. Working from home is also possible! By now I have got to know a pretty big part of my colleagues “live” and also even experienced a spontaneous game evening with pizza at the office! 🙂

Developing skills with a nice “bakkie” coffee

What I already notice very much is that I am given the space to learn and to develop my skills. Do I want to broaden my knowledge about a certain subject, because I think that can help me to do my job better? Then I can discuss this and we can look at the options together. Everyone is heard here. The lines of communication are short and you can pluck (or Slack 😉 ) everyone’s elbow. Oh and we have great coffee from Schot Koffie, for the coffee snobs among us.

If you like tackling problems, thinking in solutions and you love “Rotterdamse humour”, just check if we have any vacancies! (heads up, vacancies are in dutch though)

Curious about what a developer at Level Level does? Cool, because next time I’ll interview one of our developers: Menno!

Got excited about Level Level?

Cool! Check if we have any vacancies right now.
